How to pick up a good venue for Event Planning?

Picking out a venue for any events/conferences is very important. Yes, cuisine and entertainment are also important factors, but the venue sets the scene.  Possibly the most important decision an event planner can make that will affect the outcome of your event would be the venue that you choose. When venue planning for an event, one of the most important pieces of information you must know is who your guests will be and how many you expect to attend. While the type of event will certainly inform the venue choice, one of the largest limiting factors for an event space is its capacity. 

Make sure the location is accessible and easy to locate. Does the venue have a parking lot or valet parking? A venue with a parking lot is what dreams are made of. Better to provide valet parking too if possible. A venue’s reputation for service is critical. This is often the difference between holding a good event and producing a great event. The way a venue manages its facilities, staff and clients will always be remembered. 


Make sure the atmosphere and ambience matches with the events that will be hosted. Even minute things like the back ground music, color of light, everything matters. We can’t keep a hip-hop music or colorful lights for a business meeting. So make sure the things are organized and put up in a proper way so that you leave a memorable experience for every individual attending the event.
